Hello My Dear Family & Friends!

Hello My Dear Family and Friends!

Hna. Reina is the 1st counselor of the Relief Society and has been such a blessing to help the missionary work go forward. She helped Familiy Artiaga and Familia Ardaya get the papers and documents to get married.  This weekend her daughter Natalie was baptized and we were able to help her clean her yard and move some sand and then some huge rocks on top of the sand.

In return of the service she fed us lunch the two days in the morning when we were helping her.  It was so delicious.  It was fried chicken patties with french fries and chicken and mashed or more like blended potatoes and was so good!

Baptism of Natty
The baptism of Natty, for her baptism I played the violin of I Am trying To Be Like Jesus, and the family of Hermana Riena sang with us.  It turned out very special, and the spirit was present.  It sure is special to see the face of a newly baptized person or child; they are so pure!

Today we also had a Zone activity and watched Monster University.  It sure has some good paralles about being a good companion.  Also, I saw Elder Barazoto! He is in my new Zone, and his area is right next to us.  He is a great missionary!
Seeing Elder Barazoto Again

As for the events this week, Familia Cholima came to church for all three of the hours, and they loved it! They are progress so well and accepted to live the law of chastity. The next step is to get them married!  Please continue to keep them in your prayers.   Also, Hermana Yuliana is doing great.  We were not able to have a sit down lesson because her parents weren’t home or we didn’t have a member (if you have/get the chance, especially if you are 18 years old, ask to go visit with the missionaries.  They will for sure say yes because this allows us to be able to visit single moms or teenagers who want to learn about the gospel!) but she is still very excited to be baptized!

Thank you so much for all your prayers and support.  I love you all so much!

Love,

Elder Matheson
